Description

This role will involve taking responsibility for civil design services for urban, built and infrastructure projects across a variety of sectors including transport, education, commercial, industrial, urban, civic and health. The role will include:

• Civil design, inspections, assessments, and reporting

• Liaising with clients on projects and potential projects

• Interacting with our broader team for successful project delivery

• Contributing to the civil engineering team

• Learning and professional development

This Geelong based position will form an integral part of our engineering team in Victoria and the future growth of our national business.

Requirements

The following skills / qualifications are essential for this role:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil design

• Degree qualification, Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma of Civil Engineering or similar discipline

• Design Consultancy or local government experience on Land Development, Roads, Drainage or Water projects (within Australia).

• Proficient in civil engineering software inclusive of AutoCAD, 12D and/or Civil 3D, AutoTurn and/or Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, MUSIC and/or OSD4w

• Proven proficiency and knowledge of industry design/drafting standards, regulations, practices and techniques; and

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Self motivation

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members

• Ability to engage and communicate with a broad range of clients and stakeholders

• A drive to contribute ideas and improve civil design processes and systems

• RPE(Vic), CPEng or similar or desire and ability to obtain
