Summary:

Our electrical and mechanical services engineering team was excited to be part of the design journey for a brand-new, double-story Palliative Care Wellbeing Hub in Narre Warren, Victoria. The Community Wellbeing Hub features an education facility, enabling staff to deliver training for palliative care workers and enhancing their ability to provide essential care and support.

Inspired by the shape of a coffee bean, the building’s unique design brought both challenges and creative opportunities! From multi-staged construction planning to detailed electrical designs, we crafted specialized solutions, including body-protected clinical rooms, smart lighting and controls, AV conferencing systems, and roof-mounted HVAC plants—all seamlessly integrated into the building’s distinctive curved form.
