Summary:

HK Solutions was engaged to complete multi-disciplinary design of upgrades to the existing Katherine Sewer Ponds including design of hardstands, bund walls, pumps, switchboards, and a switchboard protection structure.  The scope of work included Civil, Structural, Hydraulic and Electrical design services.

This project design implemented a number of resilient measures to ensure continued operation of the wastewater treatment ponds all year round, which included improved access, flood hazard risk mitigation, and provision for standby power.
