Description

Based in Ballarat, this position will form an integral part of our engineering team and the future growth of our national business. The role involves taking responsibility for various structural engineering services working across a variety of sectors including health, education, commercial, urban, civic and recreational.  The role will include:

• Structural design, inspections, assessment and reporting

• Liaising with clients on projects and potential projects

• Contributing to the national structural engineering team

• Interacting with our broader team for successful project delivery

• Learning and professional development

• Innovative thinking

Requirements

The following skills / qualifications are essential for this role:

• Tertiary qualification in structural engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia)

• Sound understanding of Australian structural standards

• Minimum 3 years’ experience (although applications from more experienced engineers are strongly encouraged)

• Eligibility for MIEAust

• Experience with structural analysis software

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Self motivation

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members

• Ability to engage and communicate with a broad range of clients and stakeholders

• A drive to contribute ideas and improve structural processes and systems

• Alignment with our company values

• The following skills attributes will be highly regarded:

• Experience in the Victorian market

• RPE(Vic), CPEng or similar or desire and ability to obtain
